Project READY Inc is a parent-to-parent support organization founded by two Chinese American parents of children with developmental disabilities.
It is the first non-profit organization in the Asian community targeting youth around the transition age. The focus of the organization is Advocacy, Education, Transition and Community Inclusion. We are constantly exploring, expanding and building a community that is owned by and serves people with IDD and their families. |

Our board and staff are made up primarily of family members and youth who have been involved in these systems."

Youth Power is a New York State network hosted by Families Together in NYS that is run for and by youth and young adults. We work to ensure young people have meaningful involvement on all levels of the services they receive. We ensure the availability of Peer Support through persistent advocacy, technical assistance and by offering training and education opportunities.

The Long Island Advocacy Center
The LIAC will help you with solutions to school problems such as discipline, truancy, suspensions, residency disputes, and inappropriate placements. information, referrals, technical assistance, and individualized advocacy services. LIAC works to empower families who are struggling with the Special Education process.
